DIRECT
TO
Film

Direct to Film (DTF) is a technique that prints digital designs onto a special PET film, which is then coated with adhesive powder, cured, and heat-pressed onto garments. It enables vibrant, durable, full-color printing on almost any fabric type or color (including dark fabrics) without needing to pre-treat garments and allows us to recreate photos, hand-drawn art, and intricate designs.

DTG prints must be washed inside out to maintain longevity of the design, and should stay vibrant up to 50 washes. This method of printing does not have the same longevity as standard screen printing, however is still a quality option.
While DTF can be a great option, we recommend solid colors for print as the heather pattern of the shirt will show through the design in many cases, although some clients prefer this look on their garments (see photos).
